Assistant Director of Engineering Four Seasons Resort at The Red Sea

About the Role

Four Seasons is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to join the opening team at the Four Seasons Resort at The Red Sea. This full-time position is based in The Red Sea region, serving the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The Assistant Director of Engineering will report to the Director of Engineering and will be a key member of the Engineering team, contributing to strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Director of Engineering will provide professional direction and strategic leadership to the Engineering and Maintenance team. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all aspects of hotel and building maintenance.
• Managing projects, including annual and long-term capital expenditures.
• Handling procurement and planning for engineering operations.
• Leading the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel.
• Developing and managing the departmental budget.
• Leading the Safety Committee.
• Managing the energy conservation program.
• Ensuring all responsibilities are met while upholding talent leadership and development, maintaining high standards, and ensuring guest and employee safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant Director of Engineering position should possess the following:

• Experience with hotel opening processes.
• Expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards.
