Join Our Parts Administration Team as a Parts Salesman!We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Salesman to manage and fulfill customer parts requirements efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that our inventory is up-to-date, well-maintained, and secure.
Responsibilities:- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new or updated parts via desktop and ensure parts bulletins, lists, and catalogues are read and stored.
- Attend training courses to enhance job-related knowledge.
- Liaise with the Parts Manager to monitor lost sales for effective inventory control.
- Ensure all stock is secure and in good condition.
- Control stock and guard against unauthorized removal.
- Check all incoming deliveries and report discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
- Obtain receipts, payments, or authorized signatures for all issued parts.
- Place special orders balancing speed of delivery with economy.
- Source additional parts availability from outside the retailer.
- Accurately identify parts and fulfill customer requirements.
- Answer customer queries regarding parts warranties clearly and effectively.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations by exceeding expectations.
Qualifications:To be successful in this role, candidates should have relevant experience in parts sales with strong organizational and customer service skills.
