About the Role
Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Assistant Front Desk Manager for its new resort on Shura Island within The Red Sea destination. This full-time role involves supporting the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high standard of guest service. The position is based in a new luxury destination located between Umluj and Al Wajh on the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Resort and Destination
The new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea is situated on Shura Island, a central hub within The Red Sea destination. This destination spans 200 kilometers of coastline and is developed with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, utilizing renewable energy and dedicated conservation zones. The resort will feature approximately 149 rooms and suites, six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, a full-service spa, tennis courts, three outdoor pools, and two separate beaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Front Desk team to ensure efficient guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Support the Front Office Manager in managing daily operations, scheduling, team development, and service standards.
- Resolve guest concerns and requests promptly with care and effective service recovery.
- Ensure all guest preferences and special requests are accurately recorded and communicated across departments.
- Oversee the training and mentoring of Guest Services Agents and support team members in daily duties.
- Assist in the development of front desk procedures and systems in preparation for the resort opening.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Experience, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.
- Handle VIP arrivals and special occasions with personalized attention and elevated service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and contribute to strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant front desk or hospitality management role.
- Pre-opening experience is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated proactive and adaptable attitude.
- Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure.
