About Red Sea Global and the Role

Red Sea Global (RSG) is seeking a Dive Center Boat Captain for a full-time, site-based role in Tabuk, specifically in Umluj. This position is within Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of RSG, which focuses on delivering land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. The Dive Center Boat Captain is responsible for the safe and professional operation of all dive center vessels, ensuring guest comfort and a premium on-water experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and navigate all dive center vessels in compliance with maritime regulations.
  • Support the Dive Center Manager in daily marine activities.
  • Prepare vessels daily, ensuring readiness, safety, and presentation standards.
  • Captain all scheduled dive excursions, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vessels (interior and exterior).
  • Assist with dive center support tasks, including cylinder handling and equipment organization.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Sustainability and SEZ teams, on environmental regulations and marine conservation.
  • Support multi-site operations, including remote work and site visits.
  • Assist in the setup and operational readiness of dive center marine assets during pre-opening.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of local dive sites, navigation routes, and marine conditions.
  • Ensure safety is the highest priority in all marine and diving operations.
  • Coordinate safe diver drop-offs and pick-ups according to protocols.
  • Monitor weather, sea conditions, and operational risks.
  • Maintain accurate vessel logs, maintenance records, and daily operational reports.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of vessels and outboard engines.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all dive center activities conducted via vessels meet professional and operational standards.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

  • Enforce strict adherence to marine safety standards, emergency procedures, and risk management protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote responsible marine practices.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and marine conservation efforts.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized vessel environment for guests and crew.

Policies, Procedures & Reporting

  • Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maritime regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including vessel logs, maintenance schedules, and incident reports.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, safety standards, and guest experience.
  • Contribute to process improvements aligned with international best practices and operational excellence.

Work Environment and Requirements

This role operates within a luxury marine tourism and dive center environment. It requires flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and peak seasons, and involves daily on-water operations under varying environmental conditions. The position is critical for ensuring guest safety, operational excellence, and premium service delivery. Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
