About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Manager / Senior MEP Project Manager to join its team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, specifically in the cities of Umluj and Tabuk. This full-time role involves leading the delivery, integration, and commissioning of complex building services, technology, and control systems within major infrastructure and development programs. The position is part of a PMC team focused on a significant entertainment and luxury hospitality project.

Project Context

The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered through a hands-on construction management approach. It requires collaboration with renowned architects and global consultants, making it suitable for professionals experienced in managing both main and sub-contract packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of instrumentation, controls, automation, and specialist MEP systems from design through commissioning and handover.
  • Manage all project phases, including design reviews, procurement support, construction oversight, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.
  • Act as the primary technical authority for PMS, SCADA, BMS, CCMS, EMS, ELV, and integrated building technology systems.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, contractors, vendors, specialist integrators, and client stakeholders.
  • Review and validate system architecture, control philosophies, network topologies, and integration strategies.
  • Drive Systems Integration (MSI) activities to ensure seamless communication between mechanical, electrical, ICT, ELV, and operational technology platforms.
  • Monitor project progress, manage technical risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
  • Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), integrated systems testing, and performance validation.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops and technical coordination meetings, providing regular reporting on program, risks, and delivery status.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, local regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Support operational handover, training, asset information management, and lifecycle readiness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong technical background in plant control systems, smart building technologies, and systems integration.
  • Proven project management capabilities within large-scale, multidisciplinary developments.
