About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking a Senior Manager - Dive Operations for a full-time, site-based leadership role in Umluj. This position is critical for the full establishment, launch, and ongoing operational excellence of a world-class dive center at a designated asset. The role encompasses building the dive operation from the ground up, including recruitment, team development, facility readiness, and the implementation of robust systems, processes, and standards.

Core Responsibilities - Dive Center Operations

• Lead the planning, development, and delivery of the dive center and all associated operational components, ensuring alignment with design intent, safety, operational efficiency, and brand standards.
• Oversee the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operation of the dive center, maintaining and continuously enhancing operational standards with safety as the highest priority.
• Ensure all diving and underwater tourism activities are conducted professionally, consistently, and in line with international best practices.
• Deliver and oversee dive training and certification programs, ensuring they are conducted safely, conservatively, and strictly in accordance with the standards of respective training agencies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and auditable records for all dive center activities, training, and operations.

Leadership, Safety & Compliance

• Recruit, build, lead, and develop a high-performing dive operations team, managing a workforce of up to 13 diving professionals.
• Ensure full compliance by all Galaxea staff with the DSM Red Sea Global Dive Safety Manual and all applicable international standards.
• Collaborate closely with Sustainability and SEZ departments to ensure all operations align with sensitive environmental and marine conservation requirements.
• Implement, adopt, and comply with all functional policies, procedures, SOPs, and operational instructions to ensure consistency and control.
• Apply all safety, quality, and environmental management policies to ensure the highest levels of employee and guest safety, promoting a strong culture of environmental responsibility.

Commercial Management & Strategic Support

• Plan, direct, analyze, and coordinate all dive-related sales, including retail operations, to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Support the Galaxea Cluster Manager in the planning, development, and expansion of dive centers across other assets as required.
• Assist in preparing accurate, timely MIS reports in line with corporate and functional reporting requirements.
• Support the Destination Development department with photo and video media coverage when required, secondary to operational responsibilities.

Work Environment & Context

This role operates across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations in a strategic, multi-site capacity. It requires frequent travel and flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and peak seasons. The Senior Manager will oversee a wide range of marine and diving operations across multiple locations, playing a critical leadership role in delivering safe, innovative, and world-class diving experiences aligned with destination growth and vision.

The position reports directly to the Galaxea Cluster Manager and involves working remotely as required, attending office locations when operational or business needs dictate.
