Civil Engineer

About the Role

Taj HR is seeking a Civil Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience to support and supervise civil construction projects. This full-time position is based in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and requires strong site experience and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil works on-site, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Read, interpret, and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, materials, and workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and site procedures.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and site teams in English.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction or project engineering.
• Mandatory: Relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: Road Construction OR Industrial/Factory Construction.
• Strong experience in site supervision and civil construction works.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Fluent spoken English is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of civil construction methods, engineering standards, and site procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
