CONSULTANT OPHTHALMOLOGY

About the Role

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu is seeking a Consultant in Ophthalmology to join their team in Yanbu. This full-time position requires a medical professional with 2-5 years of experience in the field, responsible for providing specialized ophthalmic care and making critical decisions regarding patient treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Make decisions concerning the plan of care for patients.
• Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
• Interact professionally with patients and their families, involving them in the formation of the care plan.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds personally or through a designated person, if applicable.
• Be available for calls after hours for problems related to assigned patients.
• Examine, assess, and provide investigation and treatment orders for medical/surgical patients admitted under their care in a timely manner, in accordance with RCMC policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate from a recognized medical school.
• Hold a Saudi board or an equivalent degree in ophthalmology.
• Possess a specialty qualification or equivalent.
• Complete a period of experience not less than 3 years in the field of specialization in a recognized hospital or health center.
• Hold a valid SCFHS classification and registration.
• Achieve a grade of "Good" and above in academic and professional evaluations.
• Provide university certificates equalization if the certificate is from a non-Saudi institution.

Work Environment

This role is based in Yanbu and operates on a full-time schedule. The successful candidate will work within a professional medical setting, contributing to patient care and upholding established medical standards.
