The Role of Foreign Procurement Specialist

Elsewedy Electric is seeking a Foreign Procurement Specialist to support international procurement operations in Al Madinah, specifically in Yanbu and Medina. This full-time role involves managing supplier communications, preparing essential documentation, tracking orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to align with production needs and company standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and communicating with international suppliers for quotations and order confirmations.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, and delivery terms.
• Track shipments and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and customs clearance.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation within ERP systems.
• Support supplier evaluation processes and maintain updated vendor databases.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with production schedules.
• Resolve minor discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries in coordination with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and international trade regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a procurement or related role.
• Demonstrated ability to handle supplier communications and manage documentation.
• Experience with tracking orders and coordinating logistics.
• Proficiency in maintaining procurement records and using ERP systems.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Madinah, covering operations in Yanbu and Medina. The role involves working within a collaborative environment, coordinating with various internal departments and external suppliers to ensure efficient international procurement.
