Maintenance Planner

About the Role

United Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah. This full-time role focuses on optimizing equipment availability through effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with production requirements. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and executing maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime while meeting operational demands. This involves preparing various maintenance schedules, defining job scopes, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure safe and accurate execution of planned work, with all activities recorded in SAP PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop weekly and daily maintenance plans based on production requirements.
• Prepare preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Prepare manpower schedules and record manpower hours.
• Plan corrective maintenance work orders based on priority and equipment criticality.
• Define job scope, manpower, tools, spare parts, materials, and estimated duration for work orders.
• Prioritize work orders based on safety, production impact, equipment criticality, and urgency.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Operations, Warehouse, and HSE departments.
• Coordinate spare parts and material availability in advance of planned jobs.
• Align planned work with production windows to minimize downtime.
• Close completed work orders in SAP PM.
• Ensure maintenance history is accurately recorded in SAP PM.
• Track planning performance metrics, including schedule compliance and work order backlog.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field.
• Proficiency in using SAP PM for maintenance planning and record-keeping.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles.

Work Environment

This position is based in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah, and operates on a full-time basis within a dynamic industrial setting. The role requires close collaboration with various operational departments to ensure seamless maintenance execution.
