Procurement Officer Spare Parts & Equipment

About the Role

The الشركة العربية الماليزية لمنتجات الزيوت النباتية المحدودة is seeking a Procurement Officer – Spare Parts & Equipment to join their team in Yanbu. This full-time role is essential for managing the procurement of industrial spare parts and equipment, ensuring efficient supply chain operations within the Saudi market and internationally. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in industrial procurement and spare parts management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle, from purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO), through delivery and invoicing.
• Procure industrial spare parts, equipment, tools, technical materials, and MRO materials.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and conduct thorough analysis of offers, including commercial and technical comparisons.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal prices, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and guarantees.
• Develop and expand a network of local suppliers within the Saudi market, as well as international suppliers.
• Research alternative and technically equivalent spare parts to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply risks.
• Coordinate effectively with maintenance, engineering, production, warehouse, and finance departments.
• Monitor delayed orders and supplies, actively resolving any supply chain issues that arise.
• Handle international purchasing, shipping logistics, and all required import documentation.
• Evaluate supplier performance and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the supplier base.
• Achieve cost savings targets and enhance the overall efficiency of procurement processes.
• Utilize ERP systems for procurement operations, prepare comprehensive procurement reports, and monitor open and delayed purchase orders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A strong candidate with extensive experience in industrial procurement and spare parts management.
• 5 years of experience in a relevant procurement role.
• Demonstrated expertise in the Saudi market and supply chain management.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in vendor negotiation and sourcing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills for offer evaluation and comparison.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Experience with international purchasing, shipping, and import documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement reporting.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for inter-departmental collaboration.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Yanbu. The salary range for this role is SAR 5,625 - SAR 7,500.
