About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Agent Purchasing to join its team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role is essential for managing inventory, purchasing processes, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the hotel operations. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs.
• Maintain clear and organized records for all reports and invoices.
• Post invoices using computer programs and conduct inventory audits to determine levels and needs.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify management of low stock levels.
• Verify and track received inventory, completing inventory reports and logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries, refusing damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee the return process.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
• Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper stock levels.

Operational Compliance and Professional Conduct

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones appropriately.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks as outlined. Training and certifications related to safety will be provided and must be completed.
