Job Description

About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking an AsstMgr-Food & Beverage I to oversee assigned food and beverage/culinary operations. This full-time position involves ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial goals. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and foster an environment that promotes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a commitment to service.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond proactively to their concerns.
  • Utilize coaching skills across the property to motivate staff in resolving guest and employee issues.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
  • Understand and uphold the brand's service culture, setting clear service expectations for all guests.
  • Take ownership of guest complaints until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager/employee, following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with guests to build repeat clientele.
  • Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
  • Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in food and beverage operations.
  • Demonstrated self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Strong customer service and coaching skills.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage staff.
