About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking an AsstMgr-Food & Beverage I to oversee assigned food and beverage/culinary operations. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial goals. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and foster a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees.
• Respond quickly and proactively to employee concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills throughout the property.
• Motivate and encourage staff to resolve guest and employee-related concerns.

Guest Service Focus

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understand the brand's service culture.
• Set service expectations for all guests, both internal and external.
• Take ownership of guest complaints or problems until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
• Follow up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with all guests to build repeat clientele, internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and respond proactively to concerns.
• Understanding of service culture and ability to set service expectations.

Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in food and beverage or culinary operations.
