Attendant House Lead

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Attendant House Lead to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This is a full-time position requiring less than one year of related work experience. The role involves ensuring high standards of cleanliness and condition across assigned areas, addressing maintenance issues, and supporting management in various operational aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize checklists to verify that the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area meet established standards.
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Request preventative maintenance or non-urgent repairs using the appropriate methods.
• Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs as needed.
• Clean, maintain, and properly store all cleaning equipment.
• Document and report any outstanding issues and complete required Housekeeping paperwork.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests, the Front Desk, or At Your Service.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team in achieving common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Visually verify and interpret written documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None specified.

This full-time position is based in Medina, Al Madinah, within the hospitality sector at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. The role requires adherence to strict company and safety protocols, and interaction with guests and various hotel departments.
