About the Bartender Role

Marriott International is seeking a full-time Bartender to join The Ritz-Carlton team in the Red Sea region. This role focuses on providing distinctive guest experiences through food and beverage service. The Bartender acts as a Guest Service Expert, taking initiative to deliver a comprehensive range of services.

Role Purpose and Guest Interaction

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure guests enjoy their meals and that every interaction contributes to a high-quality experience. This involves professional engagement with guests and effective coordination with kitchen operations to maintain service flow and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of services to ensure guest satisfaction during their meal.
• Set tables and maintain effective communication with the kitchen staff.
• Interact with and serve guests in a professional manner.
• Clean work areas and maintain supplies according to standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, contributing to a safe workplace.
• Uphold established quality standards in all aspects of service.
• Ensure professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; moving over varied surfaces.
• Read and visually verify information, such as managing menu details.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested to support guest satisfaction and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.
