Job Description

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Consultant to join its medical team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a medical professional with 5-10 years of experience in cardiology, committed to delivering high standards of patient care and contributing to a person-centered healthcare environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical duties as per assigned clinical privileges.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional evaluations.
  • Develop and ensure timely implementation of evidence-based plans of care, adhering to established standards.
  • Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under their name.
  • Develop discharge plans for inpatients on the day of admission, involving discharge-planning services when warranted.
  • Assess inpatients admitted under their name at least once daily, documenting assessments and plans of care using SOAP format.
  • Respond to medical consultations and document interventions in a timely manner.

Medical Documentation and Reporting Standards

  • Strictly follow Fakeeh Care standards for all documentation in medical records.
  • Ensure timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries for admitted patients.
  • Verify that indicated discharge instructions and education on take-home medications are provided prior to patient discharge.
  • Prepare medical reports for patients in a timely manner and according to Fakeeh Care format.

Professional Engagement and Development

  • Attend to Fakeeh Health Care facility duties and respond to calls as per the departmental/section call schedule.
  • Participate in departmental and general staff meetings, contributing ideas for improving efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
  • Contribute to teaching rounds and activities as requested by the chairperson of the medical department.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and job requirements.

  • Adhere to and uphold Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Complete mandatory education requirements at least one month prior to expiration.
