Commercial Director (Cluster) Six Senses Amalaa

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Commercial Director (Cluster) for Six Senses Amalaa. This full-time role involves leading the commercial strategy for Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes, ensuring alignment with the Six Senses vision of reconnecting individuals with themselves, others, and the world. The role focuses on upholding the brand's core values, including local sensitivity, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, and pioneering wellness, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and out-of-the-ordinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities

The Cluster Commercial Director will oversee the Sales & Marketing department for both Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes. This includes ensuring efficient operations, delivering products and services that meet Six Senses brand standards and budget, and collaborating with General Managers to establish commercial goals and procedures.

Duties

• Maintain consistency in the company's vision, quality, and standards, and develop commercial concepts aligned with brand identity across both properties.
• Collaborate with General Managers, the Executive team, and operations on product standards to achieve guest service results.
• Lead, develop, and manage the cluster Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Public Relations teams.
• Develop and execute the cluster commercial strategy, annual sales and marketing plan, and revenue budget for both properties.
• Set and monitor commercial performance targets, including RevPAR, market share, and profitability, in conjunction with the Director of Finance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, travel partners, luxury consortia, and DMCs to drive business.
• Represent Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes at trade shows, sales trips, and industry events.
• Oversee pricing, distribution, and channel strategy to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Partner with the global Six Senses Sales & Marketing team on brand campaigns, positioning, and pre-opening commercial readiness.
• Ensure properties operate consistent with legal, statutory, and financial requirements, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, and budgetary controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel sales and marketing.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a senior commercial/Director-level role, preferably across multiple properties.
