Consultant (All Specialties)

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Part-time Consultant (All Specialties) to provide medical consultations in Saudi Arabia. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients, conducting clinical assessments, and offering preventive healthcare advice. The Consultant will also support the medical team with expert guidance and recommendations to enhance patient care and clinic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients, develop comprehensive treatment plans, prescribe medications, and review diagnostic investigations.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, available treatment options, proper medication use, and essential preventive healthcare practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring full compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational policies.
• Provide expert clinical guidance, offer second opinions, and support medical staff as required to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and ensure strict adherence to Ministry of Health (MOH), CBAHI, and NCC standards.
• Contribute to continuing medical education activities and support the professional development of junior medical staff.
• Foster effective collaboration with colleagues, patients, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure integrated care.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the role's scope.

Specialty-Specific Tasks

• Exercise specific clinical privileges based on individual training, experience, and skills, in accordance with the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
• Undertake additional tasks as determined by specialty and approved clinical privileges.

Knowledge Sharing and Support

• Provide second opinions for Registrars and Senior Registrars when necessary, promoting knowledge sharing across the team and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Support the Medical Director, if required, in the performance management process for Specialists and Senior Specialists by providing objective evaluations of their performance and potential.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in their respective medical specialty.

Work Environment

This role is based 100% indoors. Working days and hours will be determined by agreement with the Head of Clinic, with one day off per week. The salary for this part-time position will be disclosed during the interview process.
