About Dallah Healthcare and the Role
Dallah Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Data Entry professional to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is essential for providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to an assigned department, ensuring efficient data management and patient communication within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Role Purpose and Context
The Data Entry professional will be responsible for critical data management, direct patient interaction, and strict adherence to healthcare guidelines and hospital policies. This position plays a vital part in supporting departmental operations, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to patient care coordination.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and secretarial duties for the designated department.
- Follow up on laboratory results and manage related communications.
- Contact patients, evaluate cases, and initiate isolation procedures in accordance with MOH guidelines (*, Tawakkalna, Tetamman applications) within 24 hours of receiving results.
- Notify positive cases that meet admission criteria to report to the emergency department for medical examination and evaluation.
- Enter positive case data into HESN and monitor status updates (recovered, died, transfer, discharge).
- Screen and manage incoming telephone calls and inquiries.
- Prepare memos, letters, and other departmental correspondence.
- Organize and attend department committee meetings, including accurate minute-taking.
- Maintain sequential filing of documents and manage existing electronic or database filing systems for correspondence.
- Fill and update personal data for medical staff within the department.
- Contribute to the development and coordination of the Quality Improvement Program within the area of responsibility.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma with demonstrated computer proficiency.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a Medical Secretary role or similar administrative capacity.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. This includes maintaining a clean working environment, serving as a role model, adhering to the Dress and Appearance Code, and strictly following all hospital-related policies and procedures. Active participation in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs, including incident reporting and review, is also required. The role demands full awareness and active implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and relevant national and international standards.
