About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie Bakery to join its team. This full-time position involves preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes and quality standards, with a focus on bakery products. The role requires adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring high standards in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items in accordance with recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Portion, chop, and store ingredients before use.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances for food preparation.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene.
• Monitor and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting any issues to management.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, set up and break down workstations, and comply with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines, and report any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• Certifications: None specified.
