Role Summary: Engineer Care Team
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking an Engineer Care Team member for a full-time, non-management position in Ummahat Islands 2-3, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for maintaining the property's high standards through planned preventive maintenance and general upkeep across guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces. The successful candidate will ensure all facilities and amenities function perfectly, contributing to the exceptional care and comfort of guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventive maintenance (CARE, RPM, GCPM) in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas.
- Conduct tasks such as turning and inspecting mattresses, box springs, and bed frames; vacuuming behind and under furniture; and spot cleaning carpets and upholstery.
- Dust, touch up paint, and perform furniture touch-ups.
- Ensure all room fixtures and appliances are present and fully functional.
- Replace light fixtures and inspect grouts and caulking.
- Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms according to property preventive maintenance procedures and standards.
- Execute minor miscellaneous repairs, including adjusting loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and filling wall holes.
- Perform general cleaning of all guest room surfaces, such as bathtubs, tiles, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors.
- Immediately communicate serious maintenance issues, unusual discoveries, or safety hazards to management/supervisor.
General Duties and Physical Requirements
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Complete safety training and obtain certifications as required.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guest service needs.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
- Adhere to quality expectations and standards.
- Perform tasks requiring reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds (* Kg) or less without assistance.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 50 pounds (* Kg).
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
- Execute other reasonable job duties as requested.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
