Position Overview

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking an Engineer Care Team member to join its full-time operations in Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest rooms, meeting facilities, and public areas, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance across guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including inspecting and rotating mattresses, checking box springs, and assembling bed frames.
• Conduct general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming behind and under furniture, spot cleaning carpets and fabrics, dusting, arranging artwork, and positioning furniture.
• Ensure all in-room materials and equipment are present and fully functional.
• Replace light fixtures and inspect and repair seals and insulation as needed.
• Maintain, repair, and clean all rooms in accordance with hotel preventive maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
• Perform various minor repairs, including tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Conduct general cleaning of all room surfaces, including bathtubs, wall tiles, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors.

Operational Standards and Safety

• Immediately report significant maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the manager or supervisor.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, complete work uniform and a neat, professional appearance at all times on company premises.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding company and hotel-specific information and protect all company assets.
• Welcome and receive guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their needs.
• Foster positive and constructive professional relationships with colleagues, collaborating to achieve common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality requirements and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform extension and flexion movements, including bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.
• Capable of independently moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing loads weighing up to 23 kilograms.
• Ability to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing loads exceeding 23 kilograms.
• Comfortable working in standing, sitting, and moving positions for extended periods or throughout an entire shift.
