Engineer III

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves maintaining the operational integrity of hotel facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address customer repair requests and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and conduct visual inspections.
• Transport equipment such as tools and radios, and identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Manage maintenance inventory, order necessary parts and supplies, and record information on unfinished tasks before shift changes.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies, report hazards or incidents, complete required safety training, and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of brand and hotel information, and protect company property.
• Welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate needs, assist disabled persons, and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Foster positive professional relationships with colleagues, collaborate to achieve common goals, and communicate effectively.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing loads up to 23 kilograms independently.
• Climb stairs, service access points, and ladders, and perform movements such as bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.
• Execute any other tasks as assigned by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering or maintenance role.
• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously in all interactions.
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
• Capability to perform physical tasks as described, including lifting and various movements.
• Commitment to following safety and security procedures.
