F&B Service Expert

About the Role

Edition is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join its team in the Red Sea. This full-time role focuses on creating memorable guest experiences beyond standard food and beverage service. The F&B Service Expert will take initiative in providing a range of services to enhance the guest experience, ensuring that all interactions contribute positively to their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up tables and preparing dining areas.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Interacting with and serving guests in a professional manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work and storage areas.
• Ensuring all transactions are integrated into the overall guest experience.
• Adhering to company guidelines, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintaining a professional appearance, uniform, and communication style.

Physical Requirements

The role requires physical activity, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods. It involves moving across varied and potentially uneven or slippery surfaces. Tasks include reviewing menus, reading and verifying information, and engaging in various physical activities such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance. Reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and stooping are also required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• Licenses or Certifications: None required.
