About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist - Artificial Lift to join its Oilfield Services business. This full-time role involves supporting customers in the field by providing technical expertise related to electrical submersible pumps and artificial lift requirements. The position focuses on ensuring reliable and efficient operations for clients.

Role Context

The Artificial Lift team delivers intelligent, connected technologies for monitoring and controlling energy extraction assets. This role is integral to providing technical support and ensuring client expectations are met in the deployment and maintenance of electrical submersible pumps (ESP) and associated artificial lift systems. The Field Specialist operates with a focus on maximizing well productivity and ESP run life.

Responsibilities

• Performing installation and pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing downhole ESP equipment independently to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• Leading the field service team to ensure positive customer outcomes.
• Contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Handling special projects as assigned.
• Conducting business activities in accordance with HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 2-8 years of technical experience in running Electrical Submersible Pump or Artificial Lift tools or equipment.
• A Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or a higher qualification.
• Experience with ESP installations using Y-Tool.
• Analytical skills for routing ESP problems during troubleshooting.
• Valid offshore experience.
• Experience with POD system installation, well pre-commissioning activities, and well commissioning and start-up activities.
