Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to join their team. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves overseeing cleanliness standards and supporting Housekeeping management in daily operations. The role is crucial for maintaining guest satisfaction and operational efficiency within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinating efforts with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments, and relay issues to the next shift.
• Complete all required paperwork and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems or hazards, and complete safety training.
• Ensure a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, develop positive working relationships, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds independently, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
