About the Role

GREENLAND GROUP is seeking a Junior Grower CEA Greenhouse to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position supports the Senior Grower in the daily management of greenhouse crops, focusing on crop monitoring, data collection, and ensuring the cultivation plan is followed by the operational team. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Junior Grower is responsible for closely observing crop conditions, identifying potential issues early, and ensuring that all daily activities align with the established crop plan. This involves a hands-on approach to monitoring plant health and environmental factors within the greenhouse to support optimal crop development and yield.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor crops daily, observing plant growth, development, quality, and overall crop condition.
Support the implementation of the cultivation plan from planting through harvest.
Oversee daily crop activities including transplanting, pruning, de-leafing, lowering, plant training, harvesting, and crop removal.
Inspect crops for pests, diseases, physiological disorders, and other plant problems, reporting any concerns promptly.
Monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, CO2, irrigation, EC, pH, and drainage, highlighting any deviations.
Track irrigation and fertigation performance and assist with routine crop measurements and sampling.
Adhere to Integrated Pest Management (IPM), hygiene, sanitation, biosecurity, quality, and safety procedures.
Keep the Senior Grower informed on crop performance and immediately report any significant crop or operational issues.
