Lead QA/QC Engineer Construction & Contracting

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Lead QA/QC Engineer - Construction & Contracting. This full-time role involves providing operational, technical, and functional leadership across construction and contracting activities. The position ensures alignment with organizational standards, business objectives, and regulatory requirements, driving performance, coordination, compliance, and service delivery within the QA/QC function.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Lead QA/QC Engineer supports continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes. This involves close collaboration with internal teams, contractors, clients, and business stakeholders to maintain high standards and achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day QA/QC activities within the construction and contracting environment to ensure efficient execution, compliance with procedures, and achievement of operational targets.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, contractors, and operational activities to ensure timely completion of tasks, projects, and deliverables.
• Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and operational teams for smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, HSE requirements, and industry best practices.
• Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service standards, and quality benchmarks, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare operational reports, technical records, progress updates, cost analyses, and management presentations.
• Support efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, budgets, materials, and operational resources to improve productivity and optimize costs.
• Identify operational risks, technical challenges, delays, and performance issues, implementing mitigation measures and escalation processes.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures to meet company and client expectations.
• Contribute to process enhancements, digital initiatives, workflow optimization, and operational excellence programs.

• Experience required: 0-1 years in a relevant field.
