Manager HSE

About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Manager, HSE to lead Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives and personnel. This full-time position is based in the Eastern region and involves coordinating the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and shared services personnel. The role supports business acquisition and execution, and requires interfacing and negotiating with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives and personnel.
• Coordinate the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and shared services personnel.
• Interface and negotiate with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors.
• Execute processes directly impacting training, report writing, quality control, plan development, and implementation.
• Incorporate health standards directed by regulatory agencies to prevent hazards and diseases from work sites.
• Be accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function under general direction.
• Manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
• Participate in the development of functional strategy and potentially be responsible for global processes and procedures.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management. The position requires a proven ability to lead teams and manage complex HSE initiatives effectively.

Leadership and Direction

The Manager, HSE will provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring the successful delivery of functional objectives. This includes guiding personnel in executing HSE processes and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.

Strategic Involvement

This role involves active participation in the development of functional strategy. The Manager, HSE may also hold responsibility for global processes and procedures, contributing to the broader HSE framework of KBR, Inc.
