Role Overview

Ma'aden is seeking a Manager, Project Base Metals Projects to lead and manage Base Metals (PBM) activities for exploration projects within the Western Region. This full-time role involves ensuring project alignment with strategic goals, budget, and timelines. The Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and performance monitoring of exploration initiatives, coordinating closely with technical and business teams to achieve project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio of exploration projects in the Western Region, from initial planning through to execution.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitor project performance diligently and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal governance frameworks, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate effectively with geoscience, finance, procurement, and operations teams to facilitate project objectives.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and detailed reports to senior leadership.
• Support robust risk management strategies and change control processes.
• Mentor project coordinators and contribute to capability development within the PBM department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or exploration operations.
• At least 5 years of this experience must be in managing regional or field-based projects.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.
