Ma'aden, a leading mining company, is seeking a Manager Project Base Metals Projects to join its team. This full-time position is based in the Khurais oil field, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in project management.

Role Overview

The Manager, PBM Projects will be responsible for leading and managing all Base Metals (PBM) activities related to exploration projects within the Western Region. This role ensures that all initiatives align with strategic goals, budget constraints, and established timelines. The Manager will oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and performance monitoring of these exploration projects, working closely with various technical and business teams to achieve project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio of exploration projects in the Western Region, from initial planning stages through to execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal governance frameworks, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate effectively with geoscience, finance, procurement, and operations teams to facilitate project delivery.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and comprehensive reports to senior leadership.
• Support risk management processes and change control procedures for all projects.
• Mentor project coordinators and contribute to the overall capability development within the PBM department.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, specifically within the base metals or exploration sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex exploration projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Experience in monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with governance, safety, and environmental compliance standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in the Khurais oil field, Saudi Arabia, offering a dynamic environment within Ma'aden's exploration division.
