About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Mgr Marketing Communications I for a full-time position in the Red Sea region. This role is responsible for executing the hotel's marketing plan, managing e-commerce opportunities, and fostering relationships with tourism boards and community leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating promotions for guest rooms, food and beverage, spa, and golf across the region.
  • Develop leisure marketing plans to address pricing offers, packages, and programs aimed at increasing occupancy.
  • Maintain, update, and manage all websites.
  • Coordinate offers and information for all publications and inserts regarding brand loyalty reward mailings.
  • Write brochures and hotel collateral materials.
  • Participate in all hotel imaging efforts, such as signage.
  • Utilize and interpret reports necessary for sound marketing recommendations, including DMA market reports, past guest lists (leveraging leisure rate codes), and tracking.
  • Review and provide analysis on all website and email campaigns for individual hotel websites, corporate email campaign results, and ********* hotel reports.
  • Ensure consistent marketing messages are communicated in all advertising and collateral efforts.
  • Manage the marketing budget throughout the year.
  • Provide regular tracking/ROI and analysis of promotional activities and website/email campaigns, calculating ROI using industry averages and applying this knowledge to future planning.
  • Track ROI for all marketing campaigns, including online, direct mail, and print advertising.
  • Track actual marketing budget versus planned marketing budget and provide input and recommendations on reallocating funds as needed.
  • Ensure consistency in hotel representation across all customer touchpoints and marketing communications, adhering to corporate graphic standards while representing the individual hotel.

Market Trend Analysis and Revenue Maximization

  • Evaluate new marketing opportunities for the hotel.
  • Ensure the hotel is featured on all quality internet sites with business potential.
  • Work closely with respective convention and visitors bureaus.
  • Develop strategic hotel marketing plans, including group, leisure, and local activities.
  • Plan and oversee all photo shoots, developing shot lists with hotel objectives and brand image in mind.

Relationship Building and Sales Support

  • Identify and communicate with distribution channels that can market distressed inventory to increase hotel occupancy.
  • Provide creative and unique tools to all sales channels to assist in hotel sales and marketing.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and individual hotels to roll out programs and ensure hotels are taking full advantage of all corporate opportunities.
  • Work with media buyers to plan and execute advertising campaigns.
  • Assist the hotel with publicity for various events, keeping in mind the strategy and objectives of the publicity and the prerequisite of "no other recourse."
  • Assist the hotel in providing materials, tracking/analysis, and presentations to owners.
  • Engage with all vendors on behalf of the hotel, balancing quality and price, requesting valuations, and approving all materials as needed.

Additional Marketing Duties

  • Maintain detailed files and records on all matters pertaining to the hotel's marketing materials, such as photo usage rights and vendor contracts.
  • Ensure the hotel adheres to all corporate marketing guidelines.
  • Approve all invoices through the MarrCom office.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area.
  • Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with no work experience required.
