Mgr Marketing Communications I

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager I for a full-time position in Al Khobar. This role is responsible for developing and executing the property's marketing plan, managing e-commerce opportunities, and fostering relationships with tourism bureaus and community leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in region-wide coordination of promotions for rooms, food and beverage, spa, and golf.
• Develop and implement leisure marketing plans, including rate offers, packages, and programs to increase occupancy.
• Maintain, update, and manage all property websites.
• Coordinate offers and information for publications and inserts related to brand loyalty reward mailings.
• Develop brochures and property collateral materials, and participate in property imaging work such as signage.
• Utilize and interpret marketing reports, including DMA source market reports and past guest lists, for sound marketing recommendations.
• Review and analyze website and email campaign tracking for individual property sites, corporate campaigns, and ********* reports.
• Ensure a consistent marketing message across all advertising and collateral efforts, adhering to corporate graphic standards and the property's voice.
• Manage the marketing budget, track ROI for all marketing initiatives, and provide recommendations for funding reallocation.
• Evaluate new marketing opportunities and ensure property representation on relevant internet sites.
• Collaborate with Convention Bureaus and Chambers of Tourism.
• Develop strategic marketing plans for group, leisure, and local efforts.
• Plan and supervise photo shoots, developing shot lists aligned with property and brand image goals.

Relationship Management

• Identify and communicate with distribution channels to drive property occupancy.
• Provide sales channels with creative tools for property sales and marketing.
• Act as a liaison between corporate and individual properties for program rollouts.
• Work with media buyers to plan and execute advertising campaigns.
• Assist the property in developing promotions, considering strategy, goals, and prerequisites.
• Support the property with materials, tracking, analysis, and presentations to owners.
• Manage vendor relationships, balancing quality and price, requesting estimates, and approving materials.

Additional Marketing Duties

• Maintain detailed files and records for all marketing materials, including photo usage rights and vendor contracts.
• Ensure adherence to all corporate marketing guidelines.
• Approve all invoicing through the MarrCom office.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area.
• Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with no work experience required.
