About the Role

Magrabi Health is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join their team in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive optometry services and managing contact lens care for a diverse patient base. The role requires an optometrist with 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform optometry examinations, including testing, refraction, and fitting of soft and hard contact lenses.
• Manage contact lens care for patients with conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, aphakia, astigmatism, and post-surgical cases (*, trauma, cataract, PKP).
• Address aberrations including keratoconus, scarring, trauma, and droplet keratopathy.
• Oversee contact lens supplies, equipment, and solutions.
• Ensure compliance of subordinate staff with all hospital and departmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct low vision evaluations.
• Provide direct supervision and involvement in the area of pediatric aphakic and rigid contact lenses.
• Participate in the training of subordinates and residents.
• Provide input regarding the clinical performance of contact lens technicians and assistants as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Optometrist.
• Demonstrated expertise in performing comprehensive optometry examinations and contact lens fittings.
• Experience with various ocular conditions and post-surgical cases.

This is a full-time position based in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, within a healthcare setting. The role involves working with a diverse patient population and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
