About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an Optometrist for its Optical Division in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual problems, and providing patient care within an optical setting. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests.
• Diagnose visual problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Develop accurate prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses.
• Conduct contact lens fitting and follow-up assessments, educating patients on care, usage, and safety.
• Monitor patient adaptation to lenses and manage related concerns.
• Analyze test results and provide treatment recommendations.
• Ensure high standards of clinical accuracy and patient safety.
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records.
• Support conversion by recommending appropriate lenses and upgrades, and collaborate with the sales team to finalize prescriptions into sales.
• Contribute to achieving store targets and reducing lost prescriptions.
• Deliver a professional healthcare experience, building patient confidence and long-term relationships.
• Handle patient concerns and complaints effectively.
• Support and guide the team on prescriptions and eye care basics, and train staff in product knowledge and vision-related topics.
• Collaborate with the store team to improve overall performance.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of clinical instruments.
• Monitor trial lenses for validity, safety, and usability.
• Ensure the clinic area complies with hygiene and safety standards.
• Follow all clinical, regulatory, and company policies, maintaining ethical practice and a patient-first approach.
• Ensure compliance with SCFHS and healthcare standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Required Experience and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in optometry.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of optical products and the sales process.
• Ability to balance clinical care with commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care.

Work Environment
