About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time Peer Reviewer with expertise in Medicinal Chemistry to support its operations in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, remote position requiring a strong academic background and proven experience in scientific evaluation.

Role Overview

The Peer Reviewer will be responsible for critically evaluating scientific manuscripts submitted for publication. This involves assessing the originality, methodology, results, and conclusions of research papers to ensure they meet high academic standards. The role requires a commitment to objectivity and timely feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the novelty and contribution of submitted manuscripts to the field of study.
• Assess the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the clarity and appropriateness of results presentation and ensure conclusions are data-supported and significant.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Medicinal Chemistry or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles in the relevant discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
