Recreation Experience Expert

About the Role

Edition is seeking a Recreation Experience Expert to serve as a primary resource for all recreational activities available on the property in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing guests with information about recreational facilities, encouraging participation, and ensuring a pleasant and safe environment. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide information to guests regarding recreational facilities, including swimming pools, beaches, entertainment/game rooms, health centers, and children's activity centers.
• Encourage, recruit, and register guests for leisure activities, planning and promoting a relaxed atmosphere.
• Ensure guest safety and well-being by reminding them of rules for leisure and fitness facilities and observing activities.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations in accordance with local operational procedures.
• Process payments for equipment rental, recreational activities, facility rental, or retail sales when working in facilities with point-of-sale transactions.
• Assist with private receptions, group activities, and events in leisure facilities.
• Identify situations where guests may be unable to safely participate in an activity and inform a supervisor or manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and accessories.
• Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to the manager; follow safety training and obtain certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, respect confidentiality, and protect company property.
• Welcome and greet guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist disabled persons, and thank guests.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others, including answering phones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats and inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for damage.
• Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (* kg) without assistance and objects weighing more than 50 pounds (* kg) with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of different sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, stairs, or ramps.
• Capacity to perform extension and flexion movements on the knees, including bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No related work experience is required, and no supervisory experience is necessary.
• Certifications: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
• Skills: Familiarity with sports and leisure equipment.

Work Environment

This role operates within a dynamic recreational environment, requiring constant interaction with guests and adherence to safety protocols. The position is full-time.
