About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking a Rigger - Turbine Outages & Precision Equipment Handler for a full-time position in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for executing heavy and precision lifting operations during power plant turbine outages and industrial maintenance shutdowns. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely handling multi-million dollar rotating equipment, gas/steam turbine components, and delicate machinery within restricted spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute rigging operations by safely attaching, lifting, guiding, and positioning heavy turbine components and associated mechanical equipment in strict compliance with approved, engineered lifting plans.
• Conduct thorough pre-lift assessments, reviewing critical technical parameters such as total load weight, exact center of gravity, designated lifting points, travel path clearances, and final landing arrangements.
• Manage equipment by selecting, calculating, and inspecting specialized rigging hardware, including synthetic/wire-rope slings, shackles, spreader beams, chain blocks, and other specialized lifting accessories.
• Verify compliance and safety by auditing all lifting tackle before use to confirm valid identification tags, current inspection status, and Working Load Limits (WLL).
• Perform precision maneuvering, expertly guiding structural loads through highly restricted areas and congested plant environments using controlled mechanical methods and precise signaling.

Required Experience

Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in rigging, particularly with heavy and precision lifting operations. The role requires adherence to engineered lifting plans and maintaining high safety standards.
