About the Role

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Rigless Operations Foreman to join the Unconventional Resources Completion Operations Division (URCOD) within the Completion Operations Department (COD). This full-time position involves leading and supervising all rigless well intervention operations, including wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, and snubbing activities.

Role Context and Division Overview

The URCOD is responsible for executing rigless operations in unconventional fields. This includes supervising rigless sites with up to 200 service contractors to perform various rigless operations such as multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, coiled tubing operations, and well testing. The role emphasizes maintaining safety and compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface directly with engineers, service company personnel, and management to ensure alignment on operational objectives and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct site inspections, job observations, and equipment audits to ensure equipment and personnel operate within required standards.
  • Ensure well barrier integrity and adherence to well control requirements during all intervention activities.
  • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons learned initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the growth and capability development of junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as petroleum technology or mechanical engineering, from a recognized and approved program.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in rigless well intervention operations, including planning and execution of stimulation, wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, and flowback operations in critical sour gas environments, preferably unconventional.
  • Experience in unconventional resources or High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT), tight gas, and oil wells, with a strong understanding of well intervention and stimulation operations and their impact on well completion.
  • Proven record in running all types of intervention operations required in unconventional wells, including coiled tubing, wireline, slickline, hydraulic fracturing, and flowback operations.
  • Familiarity with wellhead and downhole completion design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry regulations, safety practices, and standards related to surface and downhole equipment selection.
  • Experience in optimizing surface well intervention operations using the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Ability to complete investigations when issues occur and finalize root cause analysis.
  • Experience in performance optimization, cost control, and operational efficiency improvements in unconventional well environments.
  • Strong expertise in unconventional wells operation and well performance analysis.
