Job Description
About the Role
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Risk Analytics Supervisor. This full-time role involves leading work activities autonomously towards long-term objectives, overseeing the implementation of operational plans, and driving significant improvements to policies, procedures, standards, and reports. The supervisor will manage integration with ZATCA's systems, direct the resolution of SAS issues, guide architecture documentation, and monitor architectural activities for modifications and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare periodical reports for internal ZATCA units and external governmental entities to communicate risk evaluation.
- Develop customized reports highlighting potentially risky taxpayers, passengers, importers, exporters, and brokers, and communicate findings with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and share reports with relevant stakeholders to detect risk behavior.
- Develop reports and insights dashboards to facilitate future oversight and follow-up.
- Study risk and compliance to related KPIs and suggest additional metrics to support risk performance assessment.
- Evaluate risk assessment approaches and techniques to ensure effective evaluation of detected risks and recommend control measures.
- Develop appropriate KPIs to support the detection of discrepancies.
- Facilitate risk detection by providing support, reports, and assistance to related risk teams.
- Follow up on customer compliance performance, assessing reports and interactive dashboards to recommend improvement actions.
- Conduct assessments on developed systems and models’ performance to ensure achievement of risk targets and continuous updates reflecting business and regulatory changes.
- Collect and integrate recipients’ feedback, mathematical, and statistical techniques to enhance risk reports continuously.
Organizational and Operational Duties
- Adhere to all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent work execution.
- Assist in solving escalated problems and provide support to junior team members for efficient work completion.
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant personnel to ensure proper resolution.
- Perform other duties as requested.
People Management
- Train junior staff on various job activities to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/junior staff.
- Support junior staff or direct reports in executing their duties according to established policies and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
