Role Summary

Accor is seeking a Safety Agent for a full-time position. This role involves monitoring hotel premises to ensure compliance with safety and security procedures, responding to emergencies, and promoting health and safety standards among employees. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant operational role.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel premises to ensure adherence to established safety and security procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, back-of-house areas, equipment, and facilities to identify potential safety hazards.
• Report and follow up on unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and potential risks.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, and other safety-related situations.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining emergency response and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure that fire safety equipment, emergency exits, alarms, and safety signage are accessible and in proper working condition.
• Support regular fire drills, emergency exercises, and safety training for employees.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to incidents, inspections, and safety observations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Security, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to address safety concerns.
• Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards among employees.
• Ensure employees follow proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
• Assist in investigating accidents and incidents and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Support compliance with local health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by the Safety Manager or management.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant safety certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a safety, security, hospitality, or related operational role.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and emergency procedures.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and risk assessment.

• Good observation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergencies.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
