About the Role

MicroPort is seeking a Sales Manager, Surgical Robotics for the GCC Region. This full-time role is based in Saudi Arabia and focuses on leading and executing sales strategy across the region. The position emphasizes driving market penetration, customer engagement, and team development within the surgical robotics sector. While primarily a regional role reporting to broader commercial leadership, there is potential for future people management responsibilities, contingent on business growth and team expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt and execute the GCC Region sales strategy to achieve or exceed annual targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline development, tenders, pricing, and contract negotiation.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across public and private hospitals within the region.
  • Work closely with sales, service, and clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the growth of team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs and contribute to a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, procurement teams, hospital executives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support robotic program development and foster long-term customer partnerships within the region.
  • Assist in engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and advisory boards to drive clinical adoption and customer confidence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Service, Clinical, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure smooth installations, training, and post-sales support.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to refine the regional sales approach.
  • Provide regional insights to support broader commercial and product strategies.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales.
  • Proven experience in surgical robotics and laparoscopic procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability in team collaboration and leadership.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end sales processes, including pipeline development, tenders, pricing, and contract negotiation.

Work Environment and Team Collaboration

This is a hands-on regional role that requires close collaboration with sales, service, and clinical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless delivery. The role involves supporting team member growth through coaching and performance feedback, contributing to a high-performance culture. Future direct people management responsibilities may be introduced based on team structure and business needs.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, procurement teams, and hospital executives.
