The Role of Senior Architect - Design/Technical

We are seeking a Senior Architect - Design/Technical to join our full-time team. This role involves coordinating design and technical aspects, leading project teams, and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on both residential and commercial asset types.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Coordinate with consultants on design, technical, and code compliance matters.
• Work with the project team on the coordination, organization, and preparation of concept, pre-final, and final submissions up to construction documents and drawings.
• Maintain regular interfacing with external and internal members of the project team.
• Lead all coordination works, providing leadership and coordinating input/output from all involved parties to meet established objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and case studies to establish a foundation for design proposals.
• Elaborate innovative design concepts and storylines for various building typologies.
• Produce drawings (Revit) for quick turn-around during design competitions, feasibility studies, and development stages.
• Present design proposals during internal design reviews.
• Prepare formal client presentations and design competition submissions using PowerPoint and InDesign.
• Record meeting minutes and track outstanding items.
• Assimilate comments and inputs to amend design proposals within short notice.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of local codes and planning parameters for complex projects.
• Experience working across design disciplines with architects, engineers, and designers.
• Demonstrated design capability in leading architectural practices across residential and commercial asset types.
• Ability to lead teams effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of Saudi Building Codes & Standards.
• Proven project management skills.
• Leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and achieve superior results under challenging schedules.
