The Role of Senior Architect

KEO International Consultants is seeking a Senior Architect to join its Project Management Division in Jeddah, KSA. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring that architectural tasks are delivered within client parameters, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper and complete communication with the client's site discipline engineers on all project-related issues.
  • Review, understand, and implement contract drawings and specifications on-site.
  • Prepare project reports (written and photographic) on work progress, quality, technical conformance, safety, and other relevant matters.
  • Supervise and implement approved designs on-site in accordance with national and international codes of practice and KEO's established project management policy and procedures manual.
  • Identify issues and risks requiring the attention of senior management.
  • Supervise and inspect site works in progress throughout the day, as directed by senior management, continually monitoring critical areas for quality, safety, and progress.
  • Serve as a point of contact for senior site personnel on project engineering issues.
  • Coordinate with other project discipline engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architectural studies.
  • A minimum of 15 years of work experience in the field.
  • Experience working on various large-scale mixed-use projects, including luxury hotels, diverse transport modalities, and associated utility works.
  • Experience working in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) or PMO (Project Management Office) environment is highly valued.
