The Role of Senior Data Scientist

Mubeen is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, remote position focused on designing, building, and maintaining machine learning models and analytical frameworks. These frameworks are critical for powering real-time fraud detection across various digital channels within the Mubeen ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and fraud operations teams. Daily responsibilities include:

• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Developing and evaluating machine learning models for fraud detection.
• Performing feature engineering to enhance model performance.
• Designing and executing experiments to test new hypotheses and solutions.
• Monitoring the performance of deployed models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Strategic Contributions and Mentorship

In addition to daily tasks, the Senior Data Scientist will contribute to the broader data strategy of Mubeen. This includes mentoring other team members and helping to establish best practices.
