The Role of Senior Finance Analyst

The Senior Finance Analyst will be central to The Flex's financial operations in Saudi Arabia, working full-time. This role involves understanding financial inflows and outflows, assessing business performance, and identifying areas for profitability improvement. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and offers direct engagement with accounting, financial analysis, reporting, payments, budgeting, and business performance across various departments and with senior leadership. This role is designed for growth, with potential progression to Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or CFO-track positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance daily financial reporting and controls, ensuring data accuracy and validation.
• Identify and automate repetitive finance processes in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Reconcile payments from various distribution channels (*, Airbnb, ********, Expedia) and direct bookings.
• Reconcile bank accounts and incoming payments, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Track accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review supplier invoices and company expenses.
• Manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors, and banking partners.
• Support landlord and property-owner financial statements as needed.
• Develop dashboards and reporting systems for real-time performance visibility.
• Analyze financial performance by property, city, country, and business unit.
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in planning future capital requirements.
• Identify financial risks and potential revenue leakage.
• Analyze costs and identify opportunities to improve margins.
• Work with operations teams to understand and reduce property-level costs.
• Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and new market launches.
• Present insights and recommendations to founders and the management team.
