About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Document Control - Urban Core (REQ740). This full-time role involves establishing, leading, and continuously improving document control, information management, and records governance processes across the Urban Core portfolio. The position ensures that all project documentation, including deliverables, correspondence, approvals, drawings, BIM information, technical submissions, and contractual records, are managed according to project governance requirements, quality standards, and regulatory obligations.

Role Context and Impact

As a key member of the project delivery team, the Senior Manager will oversee document control operations across multiple mixed-use developments. This involves ensuring the timely, accurate, and auditable management of project information throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design through to handover. The role is critical for maintaining data integrity and compliance across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement document control strategies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks for the Urban Core portfolio.
  • Lead and manage all document control activities related to design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • Oversee document management systems such as Aconex, PMIS, CDE, SharePoint, or equivalent, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Manage document workflows, transmittals, reviews, approvals, superseded documentation, and records retention processes.
  • Establish reporting dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor document control performance and information management effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission and processing of project documentation.
  • Support audits, governance reviews, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes by maintaining complete and traceable project records.
  • Ensure all project information complies with organizational policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop document control teams across various projects and workstreams.
  • Support project close-out and operational handover by ensuring accurate and complete transfer of asset information and records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in document control and information management.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and improving document control processes within large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency with document management systems such as Aconex, PMIS, CDE, or SharePoint is required.
