Senior Project Risk Engineer

About the Role

HILL INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Senior Project Risk Engineer to join their team. This full-time position involves managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation, with a strong focus on risk management within construction projects. The role requires a background in pre-construction management and a commitment to ensuring project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation across various projects.
• Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive risk management plans for construction projects, detailing risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation procedures.
• Regularly facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and other management teams.
• Predict potential financial liability for the Division based on data from various sources.
• Handle costs, claims associated with cost and time, change order management, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure project outcomes meet established quality standards, remain within agreed scope, and are delivered on time and within budget, in line with agency project management methodology.
• Adhere to relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience and Skills

• Strong background in pre-construction management, including contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost control.
• Good working knowledge of schedule management and the sequence of activities from pre-design through design development, construction, and closeout.
• Experience level of 0-1 years is required for this position.
