About the Role

HILL INTERNATIONAL is seeking an Engineer - Risk Management to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves developing and implementing risk management strategies for infrastructure projects. The role focuses on identifying potential risks, evaluating their impact, and creating mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.

Role Purpose

The Engineer - Risk Management will be instrumental in minimizing project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse outcomes. This involves working closely with project teams to integrate effective risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for infrastructure projects, identifying potential hazards, their likelihood, and impact.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register, tracking and prioritizing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and implement risk management plans, including contingency strategies and mitigation measures.
• Monitor and analyze project performance, identifying emerging risks and taking proactive measures to address them.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Conduct regular risk reviews and provide risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risks and proposed actions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in risk management, incorporating new methodologies into processes.
• Provide risk management training and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that risk management practices align with quality standards and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying and evaluating project risks.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the successful candidate will work collaboratively with project teams and various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
